ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT

One of Pennsy Supply’s top concerns in any project or facility is its footprint on the environment, as well as the impact on neighbors. When constructing facilities and mills, Pennsy managers analyze noise and air pollution and consider the visual impact for the surrounding community.

Pennsy is also committed to the most efficient use of energy through such practices as installing photo sensors on lights to save energy, using natural gas and regulating the amount of energy used. Other efficiency practices are incorporated, including A-frames that provide our aggregate stores protection from the weather and allow mills to operate at a cooler temperature.
